Me & You & Everyone We Know

When 'Me And You And Everyone We Know' started playing I thought, "Oh no. This is going to be one of those excessively artsy films with irritating quirky characters in it". But I was wrong and humbled. It was just right artsy, tastefully quirky and contains my now favourite boy-meets-girl scene. It begins when she follows him out of the department store and says, "I'm not following you". Fun to watch, each scene is also nice to just look at.

Wow, I can't believe it took looking through a medical book to discover the word "pupil". And what was Ely Buendia doing with a medical book? Some light bedtime reading material no doubt.
It took me a while to finally listen to their 'Beautiful Machines' album which I eagerly anticipated. Bo - ring! Maybe I had high expectations but it sounded like Ely Buendia grew up and lost his sense of fun and humor. Awww, poor Pupil. Always being compared to successful big brother Eraserheads. It's not fair, is it? But nevermind. Pupil are still winning awards, endorsing fashion apparel, and writing hit jingles for dry goods. So there.
